Psaume 8

O Seigneur, notre Maître, que ton nom est glorieux sur toute la terre Toi qui as revétu les cieux de ta majesté
Par Ia bouche des enfants et des tout petits tu t'es fondé une force
pour confondre tes ennemis, pour imposer silence à l'adversaire et au blasphémateur.
Quand je contemple tes cieux, ouvrage de tes doigts, la lune et les étoiles que tu as créées, je m'écrie:
Qu'est-ce que l'homme, pour que tu te souviennes de lui, et le fils de l'homme, pour que tu en prennes soin?
Tu l'as fait de peu inférieur à Dieu, tu l'as couronné de gloire et d'honneur.
Tu lui as donné l'empire sur les oeuvres de tes mains; tu as mis toutes choses sous ses pieds:
Brebis et boeufs, tous ensemble, et les animaux des champs;
oiseaux du ciel et poissons de la mer, et tout ce qui parcourt les sentiers des mers.
O Dieu, notre Seigneur, que ton nom est glorieux sur toute la terre!

And the days are getting colder...

Psalm 8
O God, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!
You have set your glory in the heavens.
Through the praise of children and infants you have established a stronghold against your enemies,
to silence the foe and the avenger.
When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars, which you have set in place,
what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them?
You have made them a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor.
You made them rulers over the works of your hands; you put everything under theirfeet:
all flocks and herds, and the animals of the wild,
the birds in the sky, and the fish in the sea, all that swim the paths of the seas.
O God, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!

And then the snow arrived in the valley...
