Here is a selection of various and delicious appetizers, all of them fairly easy to prepare. All of them are a beautiful sight, which is very important at the beginning of a meal, you want to start on a strong note, you want them to be tantalizing, as a matter of fact, that is their "name": to tempt and open up the appetite = appetizers!
Stuffed Tomato with Shrimp and Rice Salad
Fresh Figs with Prosciutto.
Stuffed Ruby Grapefruit with Avocado and Crab Meat
Hollow out the grapefruit, cut 1 avocado in chunks, mix in one bowl the grapefruit, the avocado, the crab meat ( or shrimp), add 1 or 2 spoons of plain yogurt and some lemon juice, 1 spoon of sweet mustard, salt and pepper, stuff the grapefruit back with the filling you just made, decorate with lemon wedges or pistachio nuts, store in fridge at least one hour
