   My pilgrimage to Ars in 2014


When I am in the French Alps, I am a member of the parish of "Le Bienheureux Ponce en Haut-Giffre" and I participated (again) in a pilgrimage organised by the diocese of Annecy (of which we belong). The pilgrimage always happens around St Jean Vianney's birthday, in early May, in Springime, and Ars being located in a beautiful coutryside of France, in the "department of Ain", we ended up walking again to the village of Ars. Because there is so many people attending his Feast Day, the mass is outside, in a flat field below the Basilica. It is quite a wonderful outdoor experience to participate in and I am extremely grateful. And I have a few photos to show!
