So many beautiful colors,
blossoming in all different shades and shapes,
with such lovely fragrance,
and forming a carpet of soft petals,
it is the month of May and it is
a feast for the eyes of the body and of the soul...
It is like a prayer unfolding itself in each petal.
Did you know that roses can have strange and surprising names?
Betty Boop, Day Breaker, Lemon Zest,
Sweet Inspiration, Broadway, Hot Cocoa,
there is even a beautiful yellow rose called Julia Child...
